Currently Seeking Full Time Deputies
The Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office is currently accepting applications for employment for Deputy Constable. At this point we are only
accepting applications from licensed peace officers.
Application / HIring Process:
- Complete and submit our TOD- 161 Form (Physical Readiness form)
- Submit your Gender, Height, Weight and Age. This is used to calculate your specific requirements for the Physical Assessment Test. Once this information is received you will be provided with your specific assessment requirements. Please review the New Hire Physical Assessment Packet prior to applying.
- Schedule a time and date to take the assessment. The assessment will take approximately an hour. Generally we can conduct the assessment Mondays through Thursdays anytime between 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. The assessment consists of push-ups, sit ups and a 2000 meter row. It is suggested that you wear work out type clothing, shorts, leggings, t-shirt, sneakers / running shoes etc. for the assessment. The assessment is conducted at our gym located at:

- Receive an application/Personal History Statement. This will generally occur after the Physical Assessment. We will go over this paperwork and explain what and how to successfully complete the paperwork.
- Return the paperwork in person with all the required documentation. At this point we will sit down with you and review all the paperwork for completeness and ensure you have turned in all the required documents.
- We will start your background investigation. We may contact you during this time frame in order to obtain more information or gain clarification on your application.
- Depending on the outcome of the investigation and the availability of open positions you may be called in for a formal interview.
- Upon successful completion of all of the above you may be offered a conditional offer of employment.
